reboot… wtf man! December 4, 2006
Posted by Phillip in : Field Report, travel , trackbackLet me begin by saying, I am writing this from my BlackBerry while sitting on the plane. The pilot came over the loud-speaker about five minutes ago and told us he needed to “reboot the plane.” Of course, this is a little nerve racking, but better to do it on the ground than in the air. Well, the pilot just popped back on and told us the reboot didn’t work and they were calling in “the Engineer.”
To be honest, this all makes me a little nervous, but once again, better to catch it while on the ground. This topic does dovetail nicley into my next topic, a blog post which I intend to entitle “where to get your last meal,” stay tuned!
