Another not-so-hot movie. December 3, 2005
Posted by Phillip in : misc , trackbackOn the flip side of the spectrum, I also recently saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This is actually a remake of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which I loved as a child. I have a feeling that loving the original messed me up my expectations for the remake. But let me just say, this was not some of Tim Burton’s best work. I thoroughly disliked this movie, but I will say, Johnny Depp plays a really good complete psycho/weirdo. I don’t remember Gene Wilder being that psychotic.
